A Debate Club and RP board!

1) For some odd reason, you post about a hot topic (War, Homosexuality, Euthinasia) many many many people throw their two cents in.

2)It would be different from the General Board. It would have discussions about Recent topics and political discussions in a more formal enviroment.

3) If I modded it I would strictly not allow it. The one phrase a mod said that I liked was in the debate club rules "Intolerance Will NOT be tolerated".

My idea is to have a place to discuss important things in a flame free more formal enviroment.
Posts like jartix's would be deleted.

If it is possible to ban a single member from ONE specific part of the forum, it would work well. I am unsure about how that works though. If not we could just make it password protected and let me handle the requests.

If you are really unsure you could do like you did on the PG13 section. Create it, see if it takes off, act accordingly.

Well, I didn't quite make it to the grociery store....we decided to go ahead and buy all the liquor we need for tomrrow (huge partay at my house)...after that, we weent to see Apocalypto...didn't make it home until 3:30 am

Tell ya what....YOU go ahead and start a debate thread in the General Board. Make sure and post the rules of the thread at the top of your post. Start a debate, and we'll see how well it takes off. If it does, I'll create a new Board and move the thread in there, and you'll be able to open up new debates. The staff, including myself, will honor your rules you put into place for your thread. Just in case one of my staff doesn't see this post before they see your debate thread, make sure and state that your rules are "OK"d by LoH, and all members and staff must abide by them.

Hmph. I dislike it when people don't capitalize my name.

Anyway, I flame where it needs to be. If there is no need to flame, I will not flame. Fine. I already posted in it anyway, so meh. A bit of "flaming", but I didn't mean it and (as you can see) marked it out. Just as a bit of joking. But I put my two cents in and posted.
