Really happened. If you press Give Up on that glutch where you fight Anchorhand/Ratliver while the "Continue" is there, you go back to battleon. With him.

And doing it with Anchorhand looks cooler then it does with Ratliver. It just gets you a feel of something...

I went skipped the battle with Anchorhand one time, and it put me into a battle with a random Island Monster and we were both attacking at the same time....but after the first round, it quit and the rest of the battle was normal.
