Yeah, I went ahead and bought the Tiki Hut....once you go to your plot of land, you can get a temporary armor called SteamJack Armor, to clear the trees. Here's a pic:  |

Man...the Woodland Pack monsters are awesome...even a little turtle that comes and blows you up if you don't beat them in enough time.
