the higher your alchemy level the better your concoxsions are, like the ingredients or something
basiccly high alchemy= pots healing over 1k

Alchemy is the science of converting elements into other elements. Lead into gold for example. Wouldn't Herbalism be a better name?

Never really thought of it, That way, Herbalism, Would be an appropriate name, do the the fact of the ingredients.

Reens explains how alchemy works in DF, and how it affects your healing potions. I guess her explaination kind of makes sense. It's really in the bottle that holds the potion, not the actual potion liquid.
