Hey RobertM, I'd like your opinion.
Mages can use daggers, correct? In Yulgars Forge, you can craft a metal weapon for lvl 34. I want one for my mage.
All three (sword, dagger, staff) do the same amount of damage, except the sword has a +4 to INT, and the dagger has a +3 to INT. The staff has no bonuses. Should I buy the dagger for my mage so i can get the INT bonus? Or should I just chomp the bit and get the staff?
Thanks, LoH

Get whatever has the highest damage since you probably meet the stat cap anyways. Factor in the 10% boost though.

they all have the same amount of base and random. It's just that the sword and dagger have bonuses to INT, but the staff doesn't. What is the 10% boost? My mage is lvl 35.

Weapons that match your class get a 10% boost. So get the staff if you're a mage.
