I just went through the Wind Elemental Cave. It was pretty tough. All in all I got 84 Gold and 1,400 some EXP. The Fire Elemental Cave gave me 51 Gold and 1,500 some gold.
The Fire Cave may be better for EXP, but I think the Wind Cave is better for gold. In just one fight, I got 21 Gold. =O

Wrong.
Fire Cave and Wind Cave have very similar drops, but Fire Cave is faster. You have to take speed into account. The reason that fire cave is good is because the drops sell for alot, not because the monsters give good gold.

yes, you do need a dragon amulet to get to the wind cave.....at least you did last time I checked (back when it was part of an event or something)
