lol...I found a Zard-shaped piñata. It had a jar of mayonaise in it...it's a temporary Water weapon (7-28 Water, 15BtH). I think there's a different temporary item in a different piñata, but I haven't found it yet.
Here's a pic of the jar of mayo doing it's 5-hit special on a piñata:
The piñatas do not attack attack you. But, they have a whole lot of HP.
