A new weapon is in Warlic's Advanced: The Lightning Rod! This is a magic energy weapon specifically designed for spellcasters. It's special - which always occurs - allows you to choose from three energy spells: "Chain Lightning" (which is MegaShock at a reduced MP cost), "Shocking Burst" (which is a single hit of lightning that has a chance of Paralyzing the monster), or "Ball Lightning" (which is a powerful 2-hit blast of lightning). In addition, the amber gem on the staff channels magical essence, boosting the damage of all spells (including the 3 cast by the special). This is a new type of weapon in AQ, and an alternative for the pure spellcaster.
It costs 100k gold, and is for level 85 and up.
