OK! Heres the deal, I need to play through Pokemon FireRed again for the Explosion, Rock Slide, and Counter tutors. So, I want to spice it up by letting you guys choose how I'll play!
Rules: -Nothing insane. No Caterpie solos. -Be specific. If you say Abra solo, am I allowed to import TMs from other games? Am I allowed to evolve Abra? Do I use my starter until I get Abra or trade Abra in at the start? -Nothing overly time consuming. I'm doing this for tutors mostly.
Some general idea you guys can think about are the various Mono-Type-Challenges. (If you say somethinfg like mono-steel I'm gonna have to import. C'mon, Magnemite and Steelix are to late in the game otherwise) various Solo pokemon challenges, no items (This would be something new), or pretty much anything withing reason you can think of to make the game more interesting.

Go through the game fighting other trainers with pokemon weak to theirs.
ex.
Enemy Trainer uses a Water type. You throw out a Fire type.
ex2.
Do you need further instructions?

No, but thats a pain in the ass since I'd need to catch 16 pokemon and use them all. And dual types fuck that over. Like if they send out an Ice type can I use charizard since its a flying type? Same goes for Psychics and gengar. Plus I can just slap ice beam/thunderbolt/flamethrower on everything and hit super effective anyways.
I'm leaning to a charmander/squirtle solo.

Go for it then.
What about throwing Bulbasaur in there. A Kanto starter Solo.

Do it without entering a Pokecenter at all.

No pokecenter leaves me using struggle as my only move for 90% of the game.
