I watched this show on Dragons on the history channel the other day and it was a bunch of crappy scientists trying to disprove all the evidence that dragons once did exist but what they brought up made it harder and harder for them to explain so by the end they were like...we win anyways because we're scientists. They talked about how all nations across the world had this idea of a dragon... they have found sculptures and drawings of dragons all around the world yet they dont think they ever existed. If they never existed then how could the native american tribes have the same idea as the aztecs, whom also have the same idea as the colonies in western europe, while chinese and japanese all had art consisting of dragons. Just because they label all ancient bones as "dinosaurs" doesn't mean they are dinosaurs! This really pissed me off! Right after that I wanted to slay some dragons on AQ =P

Celtic lore depicts dragons in a more dinosaur-like manner, while Asian lore depicts dragons in a more serpent-like manner. Two different cultures with two totally different depictions. It's like saying Giind (mega dragon) and Raydius Dragon are the same type of creature. I don't think so at all....both reptilian, but totally different.

(not sure on spelling on that one) the Aztec god, he was a serpentine dragon, he had feathered wings, was in the shape of some kind of serpent, this would show that serpentine dragons, were once widespread around the world, they could be as some believe, just guardians of this world, or they could be dinosaurs, who knows?

But all have the simular belief that there was some kind of giant reptilian creature that could fly. Which is true for both Celtic Lore and Asian lore. Even though in Asian Lore the dragon had no wings it still was able to somewhate float through the air with ease while other cultures it had wings. Either way I think they were real we just haven't found it yet.
