Sorry, that was a Frostval-only temp armor. Just use any other temp "rider" armor...I wouldn't suggest regular Salamander Rider, though, because it does two hits, and one of them is a Fire hit, which would heal Tharg....any of the "rider" armors in the Guardian Stables would work, though.
If you want to try using regular Salamander Rider (found at the Ring of Malinius quest), then you would probably do best to just use spells only on Tharg...or cheat, and use a different armor through the whole battle, until he's almost dead, and THEN equip the Salamander Rider, and use a spell to finish him off.
