Normally you keep 3 random Items.
I went in with an Iron Sword and a Cape.
That way I could pick up a bunch of gold and not worry about death.
But we PKed a guy THEN died so we lost it all.
Its no big deal because 123 is fucking rich.
I lost 2 of my favorite items.
He bought me a new dagger and I was happy.
(Even though I lost a cape, a sword, and 35 gold)

I've been playing alot more!
I've got an assortment of weapon. Steel Schmitar, Black Longsword, A Staff, A bow, several arrows, a few maces.....
I love my Black Longsword, I'll never get rid of it. *
Right now I'm mostly a warrior (11 Strength and attack) but I've been training my Ranged abilitys (level 5 and rising!).
The monsters I fight are giving me alot of gold (I think). Not sure if 5-10 gold a fight is good, but its better than what I used to get.
I don't care what you think, RS is a fun game.
* I bought it for 500 gold, was that a good deal? the guides said Longswords were the best melee weapons and Black was the highest level I could use...But was 500 gold a good buy?

Yes, but be sure to raise your defense so you can wear better armors

cool, it would be better to wear steel or iron, black for pure strength attackers

Hey, I got the hard leather for free.
And I need a good place to get gold, a guy ripped me off. Told me "Steel 2 hand sword is waaay better than Black Longsword". I told him "How much?" he says "500 GP".
So then I buy it off him, not only is it worse than my good ole Black Longsword, it wasn't steel. It was Iron.
Fucking scam artist.......
Yea so, where can I get lots of gold?

well members gets hundreds of thousands a day, if you farm the right thing and merchant, but free members like yourself, should just train for now, and when someone trades you....make sure to check the item.....lol i made that mistake with my full Verak (God Armor), i lost like 5mil in profit....
