there should be a "Member of the Month" thing for the forum, where, once, say, the 21st of the month rolls by, an admin sets up a poll with all the members that were active and made more than say, 20 posts that month and everyone votes for the person they feel should be member of the month, and that person gets a prize, maybe something like a trophy, or even as high as being a mod of a board of their choice, what'dya all think of that?

Not bad, not bad at all.
The prizes can be random.
About the mod thing, I don't think it will happen, unless it is either for a temporary period of time, say, two weeks, or if it is possible, make something like an AK, a mod with much less powers.

I know with conforums that that is possible to do, the mod thing, I don't know about proboards though, I run a conforums one, and am a global mod at a conforums one, and in conforums, under the admin section, the owner can change around the powers the mods have, so, I know at least in conforums it's very possible to do, no clue with Pboards though, most likely though, it's possible

I can make lesser mods....the thing is, we don't have enough active members at this point to make it any kind of contest....Spindle would be the winner every time

Spindle, you are my most prized member. You make posts, have a good attitude, and keep things interesting. I know for a fact that if every member of these boards actively posted, like you do, you'd probably be a mod by now, too.

I can't believe it got iced only yesterday, I've had it on for nearly a month and no mods saw it... I'll try to get more members so Spindle's dream can come true... |
