It's finally here, and it kicks ass.
Discuss.

Pain in the ass to level.
They fucked with the scaling, now the monsters are hard.

Yeah...it is a bitch to level up. This is unlike anything else they've ever released, because you can't just sit down and get it done in a little bit of time....takes an extremely long time to complete.
HINT: when it comes time to get the 5 pouches of Sparkling Sand, just exit the Guardian Tower, and travel to Oaklore, and go do Sir Vey's Camp, and do the 2nd quest over and over until you have all 5 pouches of sand....then just go to OPTIONS, and Teleport Home...it's a heck of alot faster than doing the default VurrMen quest from the Guardian Trainer

wheres the trainer i can't find him in tower Go in the tower, and then go one screen to the left. He's standing behind a counter, and there's a couple suits of Guardian Armor on the wall behind him. Well, I got my Guardian Class leveled all the way up....and it was the most difficult thing in DF yet! Things you have to get/do in order to unlock abilities: There might be some more that I forgot, but I think that's all of them. For the ones where I had to quest for items, I would always just change back into my regular default armor, do the normal quest (Sir Vey, Yulgar, Lugosi, etc....) and then go back, change into the Guardian Armor and unlock the ability. I tried it in the Guardian Armor, and it was waaaaaaaaay too dificult. You had to be wearing the Guardian Armor in ordewr to get to Frostscythe and Glasarius....once I got into the battle, I changed into Chickencow armor, and then unequipped it, and it put me back in my deafult armor...I beat him easily that way...I tried using the Guardian Armor on him at first, and I was getting PWNT. The armor itself is actually not that great, but it DOES have some really awesome attacks. The last and final ability still hasn't been released yet, though...which sucks, because the armor has no Power Strike, or Final Attack. However, it does have an attack that is almost just like ChickenCow's 12-hit combo, but it does a random element...all 12 hits will be the same element, but each time you use the ability, it switches to a different element. Half of the abilities are only useable if you have the Guardian Blade equipped. Even though this class has it's drawbacks, it is extremely fun to play with, and it is probably the longest quest I've ever done on either DF or AQ...it took forever!!!!

Hate...level 3....quest...
Seriously, every time I leave an area with a gem, I go back to the door, and it says, "You need to unlock all locks" even when I have all the gems.
And the Willoshire quest takes just to long to do.
Dammit, I wanted that Shock... so pwnful, immobility for 10 turns...

The Shock ability isn't what you think....it has a 30% chance to cause Immobility for 10 rounds....which means, basically, for 10 turns, the enemy has a 30% chance to be immobilized for one turn. One turn he might be immobilized, and the next, he might attack...it's a 30% chance through a duration of 10 turns.

30% is still good. Ah, I see. >_<
How do you defeat the dragon? Didn't we already do that? What if you didn't beat him, are you doomed to not have the ability? >=O

I guess if you don't beat him, you can just keep trying over and over. And the part about beating him before is discussed in the dialogue before and after the actual battle. It's interesting, and gives a clue to a future Ice War, I think.
