Many years ago a great glacier, later named Serosus, the Sky Glacier, fell from the night sky and landed in the northern regions of Lore. The explosion it caused when it landed changed the sunsets all over Lore for a week and would have devestaed any life around it, had there been any. Fortunately there wasn't.
My teacher and master taught me well as a magical weaponsmith, and I knew that the Sky Glacier would have materials that have never been seen on Lore so I journeyed north in search of Serosus and eventually I found it. The crater was gigantic. From the outside of the crater it took me most of a day to reach the impact point and the glacier itself, and found that the ice of the glacier was not normal ice, but super frozen. I know enchantments that will slow the melting of ice, but it tends to increase its britleness making weapons made of normal ice more likely to shatter. If this has ever happened to any of you, I appologize.
But the ice from the glacier was vastly different. The normal enchantments changed the nature of this special ice and I found that the more that I slowed the melting of the ice, the harder it became while losing all brittleness. I could use this ice to make special elemental Ice weapons that would never shatter, or melt and blades that would keep their edge until the sun sets on Lore for the last time, and maybe longer.
I created 3 staffs, 3 swords and 3 daggers, as I tend to do. Each stronger than the next. Aside from their normal attacks there is a small chance that all of these weapons will do a SPECIAL ICE ATTACK opening a small portal to the elemental plane of ICE and letting out a freezing cold blast of wind and snow. The third and final versions of the weapons are some of the strongest weapons that I have ever created.
They are equal in power to the DOOM WEAPONS.
Unfortunately these weapons were stolen. Or I might have left them on that turnip wagon that gave me a ride to Falconreach. But i'm pretty sure that they were stolen, and it makes sense that the one person on Lore who would want to keep these powerful ice weapons out of the hands of heroes like you would be the pyromancer, XAN. He would fear their frosty power greatly.
We all know that he is coming. We can all see the eerie light of his burning army just over the next hill. This could be your only chance to find these weapons and If you do, heroes, USE THEM. He will probably keep them in sealed chests hidden amongst the waves of his army. Some waves might have chests, others might not. The strongest of the weapons might even require you to make a small sacrafice of defender's medals to obtain them. But obtain them you MUST.
If it is possible, and I am not certain that it is (he has never been this powerful... he must have discovered something...), YOU MUST STOP XAN.
