I don't see how Stun helps in a 1 vs. 3 fight.

Has anyone upgraded their Doom weapon yet in the new Amityvale Quest....I'm working on getting 5000 gold to do it, right now.
EDIT: Ok, I upgraded....+2 STR, +1 Crit...you can only upgrade it once. Going to farm Rydia for some more trophies....lol.
