It's always been a rule, since the time months ago when the Karma War took place, of which, you (123) were the recipient of major nerfage. I can't believe I'm having to explain all this over and over and over....why don't people listen? Why don't people read the FEW RULES I have in place here?
"Buff" someone if you think they say something cool.
"Nerf" someone if they say something that bothers you a bit.
DO NOT sit on these forums all day, waiting for each hour to pass, so you can "Buff" or "Nerf" someone over and over. Doing so, will not get you banned, but it will make me take the system down. It's not fair for people who have actually earned their Cool Points to be Nerfed repeatedly just because they said ONE thing that bothered ONE person. NERF someone ONCE if they said something that bothers you. If they keep on doing it, PM me, and tell me your problem, and I'll take care of it.
Don't try to abuse the system, by teaming up with someone to "buff" each other (or in spindle's case, "nerf" him into oblivion). The Cool Points (Karma) system is NOT customizable by the members, so don't try teaming up, and don't ask me to do it. I, the admin, am the only one who can modify a person's karma, and I do so at MY OWN discretion.
Here are the reasons I will modify someone's Cool Points (Karma):
1. New member signed up and posts - 3 or 4 CPs
2. Member won a contest, of which the prize was Cool Points - usually 5 CPs
3. Member totally broke every single rule on the boards - nerf lots of CPs
4. Member made everyone on the boards extremely angry, but didn't break any rules - nerf some CPs
I also "buff" and "nerf" normally as well, just like any normal member.
I hope this clears things up a bit. This thread will remain open for discussion for another week, at which time it will be cleaned and all of this will be deleted. This kind of conversation is a deterent for new members and visitors.

Who keeps nerfing spindle? I only nerf/buff about once a day... and still, it's random...
But still, who keeps nerfing him into the negatives?

All this negativity lately is rooted in the Cool Points system. It might be permanently removed sometime soon.

I miss my -3 karma  if I find out who got it deleted (the person who actually did the nerfing, not the new member) then, I'll personally make it my life goal to hunt them down and torture them until they die IRL |
