triggers on monsters that HIT YOU WITH EARTH DAMAGE...another example would be a Thunder/Battle Troll.

ok so no other elements, ok, so it would do wind damage to and earth elemental, gotcha

But what about Warlic, with his "Call upon the Elemental Lords" move? It's multi-element, would it trigger on him?

I dunno. I think it triggers on those whose main attack is Earth element.

so a sphinx, similar to that, because its main attack element is earth, but its spec, hits fire, energy, wind, and *Insert*

............oh....and it seems i run into the same monsters repetitively, like and there all over lvl 100, with over 1k health.....and im only 79, with barely below 900 health

He means Base Element. Look next to the monsters name, if you see a leaf the weapon will trigger!
