People seem quite certain about this. We only have the word of one being, the Shadow Master.

Like I said in point one you can't kill him. Even if there was a weapon he'd just uncreate it
4. AE won't let him come, it'll end AQ.
Yes they will, Lore won't be completely destroyed if he comes, but we won't want to see what's left. AE won't save us from the Devourer, they'll lead him right here(they created him after all:P)
5.We have time to see what happens.
Time is not on your side.
6. We always win in this game, what's to worry about?
The ability to lose is definitely coming. The fact that players seem to think that they are all powerful is one of the WORST inconsistencies in this game compared to others. This shall be rectified.
