I think we should do a Forum Store like the one here. Exept I would change a few things:


Instead of spending posts, we could spend Cool Points.

Or mabey we could put "Forum $=5" in the awards area. Like you could win Forum Money in war missions and contests. That would boost participation.

But, lets try to come up with our own prizes and costs.

Temp-Modship:
Modship in one board for 1 week: 20 cool points, or 50 Forum Money
Modship In one board for 2 weeks 35 cool points or 80 forum money.
And it stacks, so if you buy it twice you could mod two boards!

Message in the news fader:
(Put you own message in the news fader)
Message in news fader for 1 week: 10 cool points or 20 forum money.
Message in news fader for 2 weeks: 15 cool points or 35 forum money
Message in news fader FOREVER!!!: 50 cool points or 100 forum money.
Change Message: (Only applies for Permanent Message): 5 cool points or 10 forum money.
Change fonts: Add a size, color, shadow and/or glow effect in your message: 5 cool points or 10 forum money.

Prices could vary but I'm thinking a war mission would give 5 F$ and winning a contest would give 20-50 depending on difficulty.

(I'm saying money instead of dollars for our overseas members)

People would be PMing each other saying "I'll buff you if you'll buff me! We can both be mods!"

I just don't really like the idea to be honest. It would be totally different if we had about 50 active members, and being a mod over that many people would be worth something. Right now, I only have my mods out of necessity....which is why they are all Global Mods.

I might use the News fader idea for something else, but I don't really want a store...besides, it's a feature on a different forum, and I want to keep this place as original as possible.

or my other forum, i was a mod in, like all of us were mods, that led to the end of that forum....the last post was sum time in january, and it was by me....the others were like at the end of 06'
