It's a new job, new quest, new outfit, and probably a new mech....maybe even the first energy weapon you can buy...who knows.

It has been released, and it's really fun. Make sure you visit the university and get one of the better energy weapons from the rack in the weapon class.
As you level up as a police officer, you find clues along the way, which are automatically logged into your police notebook. Every time you find a clue, make sure to read the notebook. There are some mini-quest-type things along the way while looking through your notes. You'll miss out on some of them if you don't check the notebook every time you find a clue. I missed the first two visits to 1337 Falcon's Reach so i don't know what happened in those. If any of you get there, fill me in on what i missed.
The shops have some really cool stuff in them. I accidentally bought the lvl 10 Silver Crossbow weapon in the Cop Shop, before i realized that even though it does higher damage than my Shining Electron Sniper, it isn't as good, because the SES stuns for one round....so, I wasted a bunch of credits...oh well. Live and learn.
The entire quest hasn't been released yet. You can only get to lvl 27 in it, and the final shop isn't available yet. I'm anxious to get in there though and see what all is at the impound. It says it's the next release, so maybe next week we'll get to finish the Werewolf Biker Gang.

I really like the Quests, and the Weaps, And I think there was a bug with the Default police weap, that made it so weak, Now Im hitting the usual 15-25.

btw...the Mega Lupus fight has a bug right now. It won't give you the 100 xp and 500 Creds, that it says you get. So, if you're farming him, it is all in vain...as of right now, the Mega Spider (go to the right instead of going in at the University) is still the best farming, if you can defeat it.

Mega Spider. 80 xp and 500 Cred. Go to Gears University, and go RIGHT instead of going IN the front door. He can stun you, so if you don't have a good battle strategy, he's really hard.
Back to the SPD quest. It's really really fun. I enjoyed every minute of it.
